The "L" Matrix is the only one of the four frameworks that starts out resembling the shape of the finished sculpture character. As you load balloons, it will automatically take on proportions that make it considerably closer to the official logo shape.

The left side of the "L" framework has a single protruding loop.  Use that loop to wrap around one of the balloons on the lower curve of the "D".  That will join the two letters and set the tilt angle between them to match the official logo.

Balloon Size

I found 3.5" (89 mm) to be my preferred inflation diameter for making the "L". We suggest you start there and then adjust to suit your needs.  You may download a layout for making a template to use from this address:
