We
made this 10 foot cake in
celebration of a 50th
wedding anniversary in
Columbia, SC, USA. It
could just as easily have
been used for a 50th
birthday.
The
top of the first layer
served as a buffet. The
sides of the top layer
displayed photographs of
special people and events
in the lives of the
couple.
This
kind of giant cake is
wonderful because it
serves several functions
so well; center piece for
the room, food service,
and display.
