| The first American flag
below is approximately 12 feet
long and 6.5 feet tall. It
is made with RMSTM Builders and 11 inch
latex balloons each inflated 8
inches in diameter. It has
only two base plates and vertical
pipes attached to the back of the
flag with cable ties. |
|
| The
flag is so light, less than three
pounds for the Matrix framework,
that the flag may be hung rather
than supported with bases and
pipes. The curved shape
works well for backdrops and
makes the whole display stronger. You could make the same
design one half the length and
one half the height by using 5
inch balloons inflated 4 inches
in diameter and installed in RMSTM Banners instead of
Builders.

| The
American flag design shown to the right
would be approximately 10 feet long and
5.5 feet tall when made with 9 inch foil
balloons. The size would double if
made with 18 inch foil balloons in the
same configuration. This layout
would change in size, but keep the same
proportions and number of balloons if
done with 5 inch, 9 inch, 11 inch or 16
inch latex. You could create a
somewhat more lighthearted version by
using GEO balloons instead. Contact

 |
| The
American flag design shown to the right
illustrates the effects of turning the
RMSTM; Matrix 90 degrees.
The "bumpy" effect runs
along the horizontal line rather than the
vertical line. This effect is
diminished by going to more balloons.
The stripes are made two or three
balloons wide rather than just one
balloon wide in this design. If
this design were made with 9 inch foils
it would come out about 24 feet long and
16 feet high. Contact us directly
